ALIGN & REFINE – A class to teach precision and alignment of yoga postures. The pace is slower as we develop strength, flexibility, mental stillness and focus through longer holds of common poses as well as some of the more challenging poses. There is greater detail of instruction and the opportunity for interaction and hands on adjustments.  The perfect class for beginners and seasoned practitioners as you refine the relationship to your body and awaken to new habits.  Props may be utilized to make any pose accessible.

GENTLE FLOW –  Great class for beginners as well as those suffering from Injury or Injury Recovery, Arthritis and other chronic conditions, Pregnancy —anyone interested in exploring a gentle slower practice. Classes focus on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and working to improve range of motion and joint mobility. Gentle yoga helps balance a hectic lifestyle and is also appropriate for students with limitations.  This class includes basic breathing exercises, as well as a variety of foundational postures (standing, seated, and on the floor).  No quick transitions make this class ideal for everyone especially those with limitations. The class utilizes blocks, bolsters, blankets and straps. No prior yoga experience required.

HATHA YOGA -  postures are held for a longer period of time allowing you to fall deeply into the posture and receive the maximum physical and energetic benefits. This class is a relaxed-paced yoga practice that integrates breath work with deliberate muscle elongation, toning, and spatial awareness. The systematic relaxation, pranayama (breath-work), and meditation in this class is meant to harness the mind’s attention and the body's strength. We will explore the postures and work our way into waking up the body to help you step into your day. All Levels.

HOLY YOGA – A Christ honoring form of yoga open to believers and non-believers alike. Holy Yoga is worship with mind, body, soul-experiential worship. It is an opportunity to connect. We practice an all level flow with contemporary/Christian music. Yoga experience is not necessary, but is helpful.

HOLY YOGA SLOW FLOW - (see above) A meditative flow that practices slowing down by using a slow steady breath, holding postures, transitioning smoothly, and opening gently and mindfully with the ability to move deeper into one’s body and self. It’s a practice that builds strength, and each movement is initiated by slow controlled inhales and exhales. Come spend time with Jesus on your mat. All levels are welcome!

MOVE & MEDITATE Welcome the weekend with this centering practice.  The first part of the class is a restorative flow. We move first, so we may settle into a grounding meditation. Among its many documented benefits, meditation is proven to decrease stress and improve concentration. Like other disciplines, ability is strengthened through practice.

POWER  – 60 min.  No more sit ups!!  All yoga practice works your core, in this class you will explore the muscles that support your spine.   Learn to cultivate accurate and integrated alignment for a stronger core utilizing guided breath work. Develop long, lean core muscles, strengthen and protect your back, tone and align the body! This is a faster paced class.

RESTORATIVE – 60 min - A practice designed to restore the nervous system - teaching the body and mind to slow down.  Restorative Yoga helps release deeply held tensions from the body and mind. We use props to support the postures to allow the body to deeply relax.  Restorative Yoga creates an environment that allows for one to have a meditative focus.

SLOW FLOW- 60min. A well balanced gentle vinyasa class which aims to create a tranquil environment where students are encouraged to move with the rhythm of their own breath and at their own pace.  Students of ALL LEVELS of experience are welcome. Variations will be presented for those wishing to go deeper and for those who are just beginning to feel comfortable in the practice of yoga, plenty of modifications are offered. Skillful assists and the use of props will help students achieve proper alignment and ensure the body is being protected and safe at all times,

YIN YOGA 75 min - A quiet, slow practice in which floor postures are held for longer periods of time. We work with the fascia  (connective tissue that underlies the skin, wraps the muscles, and holds the bones together) Over time chronic tightness of this layer causes stiffness and inflexibility, restricting mobility and energy flow. Fascia responds differently than muscle and requires this slow approach to facilitate opening. Yin is the perfect complement to balance a stronger, yang type of yoga and other sports. All levels.

YINYASA - The best of both worlds Yin and Yang.  This class begins with Yin postures and slowly moves into a of vinyasa (flow).  The yin postures focus on the hips, pelvis, lower back, and knees.  After this opening, enjoy the benefits of the strength building yang yoga.  Moving mindfully from one pose to the next you will feel the natural progression of the practice from beginning to end.  You will gain strength, flexibility and develop keen self-awareness as you learn to use your breath to flow. The fusion of Yin yoga and Vinyasa Flow creates an integrated, balanced practice.
